We know you jump out of bed every day excited to go to your job and rock out some amazing work. You zoom through lunch to get back to your desk. You do cartwheels on your way home. You’re blessed with a great job and an awesome boss who inspires you daily. Naturally, you want to celebrate this boss person every day, right?
Okay… maybe it’s not exactly like that. But, just in case it is, there is a day to honor the boss if you deem them worthy. Every October 16, the nation comes together to celebrate Boss’s Day. It’s not a federal holiday – yet – but it is celebrated every year on the same day. That’s a start.

You can order online or get NPP discounts in-store. Then just write an inspirational quote or other sincere message of gratitude on some rocks. Line them up on the boss’s desk proudly. Voila! There’s a good chance you’ll still be employed next week.
You could also use a Sharpie to customize a coffee mug with, “World’s Best Boss.” Your boss will know you care. Plus, who doesn’t love Sharpies? A multipack of different colors or a fancy pen opens up a world of creativity. Might as well leave those on the boss’s desk too when you’re done. The points are really starting to pile up.
If you (and by extension your boss) don’t have a desk job, just think outside of the box. How about some brand spanking new safety gear from Airgas? Sleek new safety glasses or sturdy work gloves can be a welcome, useful gift at home or work.
Speaking of useful, cell phone accessories are practical and fun too. Talk about items that are universally appreciated. No one will turn up their nose at a shiny portable charger or a cool new phone case.
