2020 has been a trying year for many of us in the business community. We are truly living through unprecedented times. The optimist in me chooses to believe that these circumstances have taught us many things. We’ve adjusted to new social and workplace norms. We’ve learned how to do more with less. We’ve been humbled as we miss stuff we once took for granted.
Through these experiences, we also got a solid lesson about gratitude. We want to express our gratitude for the things that have gone right at NPP in 2020.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
To the NPP team, thank you for working hard for our members and vendors during these extraordinary times. Much like our peers in the business community, we’ve had to adjust to working from home, homeschooling, quarantining and forgoing group activities for the safety of our communities. Through it all, our team has kept servicing our brands and members, keeping them a priority for the company.
To all our vendor brands, thank you for partnering with us. We have the privilege of working with some of the finest brands in the world and our list of offerings continues to grow. We are appreciative of the ability to help vendors prosper by offering discounts and special pricing to more than 300,000 NPP members. Businesses of all sizes get deals on products and services from companies such as Verizon, Office Depot, Sherwin-Williams, Batteries Plus Bulbs, UniFirst, American Express and Airgas.
To all our members, thank you for purchasing items through our offers. NPP is owned by non-profit hospitals, which have been dealing with their own difficulties this year. The bright side is a substantial portion of NPP proceeds help support medical research at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) in Seattle, WA.
BRI works to predict, prevent, reverse and cure immune system diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, type 1 diabetes, lupus, Crohn’s disease, allergies and asthma as well as working on a rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are especially thankful for the hardworking researchers at BRI who are trying to advance medicine in our community and throughout the world.
If you aren’t an NPP member, consider joining NPP for free. We would love to have you on board. We think our B2B marketplace gives businesses and their employees the opportunity to be thankful for us too.
Thanksgiving is indeed an excellent time to reflect on all the things we are thankful for in our lives, including the rewards of doing good business.
It‘s a pleasure to say how thankful we are for everyone.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
