NPP is owned by non-profit hospitals and a portion of NPP proceeds help support medical research at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) in Seattle, WA.

BRI is working to predict, prevent, reverse and cure immune system diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, type 1 diabetes, lupus, Crohn’s disease, allergies and asthma. Since 2001, NPP has contributed more than $300 million to support organizations dedicated to medical research and care.
